Alliance Française du Manitoba

The Resource Center of the Alliance Française du Manitoba has about 3000 documents for a broad audience: novels, dictionaries and encyclopedias, comic books, feature films and documentaries (DVDs), music CDs, and French as a second language learning materials.

Since 2008, the highlight of this Resource Center is the audio-visual fund. More than 700 DVD titles are part of the catalogue, most having with English subtitles. These films are French, French-Canadian and other French-speaking (Belgian, Swiss, African and the Middle Eastern) productions.

Through its partnership with CulturesFrance, the Alliance Française du Manitoba regularly receives films edited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France. We also receives educational booklets produced and distributed by the National Center for Cinematography in Paris.
